Wellness & Ayurveda

Sri Lanka Experiences

Sri Lanka has been healing travellers for two thousand years. Its Ayurveda is not a spa add-on but a living medical tradition, practised by qualified doctors in serene retreats from the south coast to the hills. We match you to a genuine programme — not a hotel with a massage menu.

Authentic Ayurveda

A true Ayurvedic retreat begins with a doctor’s consultation and a tailored programme — diet, herbal treatments, and the deep cleanse of panchakarma over one to three weeks. We work only with centres where the medicine is real and the doctors are present daily.

Yoga, meditation & stillness

From forest meditation monasteries to dawn yoga above the sea, Sri Lanka offers profound stillness. We arrange teachers and quiet, beautiful settings, whether you want a structured retreat or simply space to breathe.

Wellness, woven in

Not everyone wants two weeks of treatment. We also thread wellness through a wider trip — a few restorative nights between the parks and the hills, spa days in exceptional settings, and food that supports rather than sabotages.

Where to go

South coast

Established Ayurveda retreats near Bentota and Tangalle.

Hill country

Cool, quiet settings for yoga and meditation.

Forest monasteries

Authentic meditation in the dry-zone forests.

Best time to travel

Year-round; choose the coast by season. Allow at least 7 nights for a meaningful Ayurvedic programme — ideally 14–21.

Ajit’s tip

Commit to the diet for the first three days even when it is hard. That is when the programme actually starts to work — most people give up just before.
